A '3F0', 'Hard disk not found', 'Boot Device Not Found' or 'No bootable device' message means the machine can't see the drive it should start from. Sometimes it's a loose connection or boot-order setting; sometimes the drive is failing. Do the safe checks and raise a ticket β don't keep force-restarting a failing drive.
1. Remove all USB drives and SD cards, then restart.
2. Power reset (hold power 30s), then power on.
3. BIOS > Boot order β is the internal disk listed? If not listed at all, it's hardware.
4. Run the built-in drive test (HP: F2 System Diagnostics). Note any failure code.
5. Back up your data the moment it boots; confirm work saves to Google Workspace.
Raise a ticket with the exact code, whether the disk appears in BIOS, and any test result.
