LETTER TYPES
• Employment / Address letter — confirms you work at Iksula (for bank, visa, rentals). Mention the purpose and the addressee.
• Salary certificate — your current salary details.
• Experience / Relieving letter — issued on exit (see the Resignation & F&F article) and emailed/posted to you.
• Form 16 — your annual tax statement; download it from HRMantra, or raise a request if you can't.
BACKGROUND VERIFICATION (BGV)
• When a new employer or agency verifies your Iksula employment, HR responds to the verification directly. If you're the one being verified, share the verifier's contact and reference number with HR so they can respond quickly.
WHAT TO INCLUDE WHEN YOU ASK
• Your name & employee code, the letter type, the purpose, and who it should be addressed to. Letters are normally issued within a couple of working days.
