Leave & Attendance policy (HRMantra)
HR Guides · 9 views
All leave and attendance is managed, applied and approved through HRMantra.
OFFICE TIMINGS
• Working days: Monday–Saturday (Mumbai: all Saturdays are off). Shift timings are set by your Reporting Manager.
• Punch in/out on the biometric machine every day. For outdoor duty, mark OD in HRMantra within 7 days.
• A 15-minute grace from shift start is allowed; punching in after that is 'late-coming'. Regularise any exception in HRMantra within 7 days, with your manager's approval.
LEAVE RULES
• Leave accrues from your joining date but is usable only after probation.
• Carry-forward: up to 25 unused leaves carry to next year; you can accumulate a maximum of 25 at any time — anything above 25 lapses.
• Planned leave must be applied AND approved before the leave start date. Planned leave >2 days: apply at least 2 weeks in advance; up to 2 days: at least 1 week in advance.
• Approvals: up to 10 working days by your Reporting Manager; more than 10 needs Business Unit Head approval. Leave taken without approval is Leave Without Pay (LWP → Loss of Pay).
• Emergency leave: inform your manager the same day (call/email) and apply on the day you resume.
• Medical leave over 2 days needs a medical certificate submitted to HR.
• A public holiday or weekly-off falling inside an UNPLANNED leave is counted as leave (the 'sandwich' rule); this does not apply to a properly planned & approved leave.
• Privilege Leave (PL) balance cannot be encashed.
LATE-COMING (per calendar month)
• First 3 late-comings are pardoned. 4–7: half-day deducted for every 2 counts. 8+: 0.5 day salary per count. Login after 60 minutes: 0.5 day leave per count.
ABSCONDING
• 3 days of uninformed absence → salary put On-Hold. 7 days → flagged Absconding and employment terminated.
COMP-OFF
• If your manager asks you to work a Sunday/public holiday and you clock the required hours, a Compensatory Off is auto-credited by HRMantra.
